Genes are colored as red if the FDR-adjusted p-value (vertical axis) is less than 0.05 and the absolute mean departure difference (horizontal axis) is larger than 4 (DE genes); orange if the FDR-adjusted p-value is less than 0.05 but the mean departure difference is small; black if the mean departure difference is statistically not significant.
