Gene-gene coevolution network for the top 94 significant gene pairs in the full dataset with graph distance > 30 and no unannotated genes, with nodes colored by gene function, edge color indicating the strength of the inferred interaction, and edge type indicating the polarity of the interaction. The interactions in this network are dominated by “spokes” around three genes–aphA, wecD, and clfB. In addition, there are many more negative interactions in this network than in Fig. 2
