Representation of the juncture metric. The purpose of this example is to illustrate the "juncture" metric based on generated synthetic data. In the time interval of 0 to 10 months the synthetic reference interval overlaps, at least partially with the prediction interval from t = 0 to t = 5 months, then between 6.8 and 10 months. This results in a juncture of ((5–0) + (10–6.8))/(10–0) = 82%
