  1. Parameters \(k_{Tet}, k_{Tup}, k_C, \text {and } d_{Tup}\) are cell-to-cell variable but their means are fixed to the indicated values. S. cerevisiae’s typical growth rate in YPD medium is \(0.0077\,\textrm{min}^{-1}\) [4]. To account for dilution and potential cell-to-cell variability, lower bounds for all degradation constants were fixed to \(3e-3\,\textrm{min}^{-1}\)
