Table 3 True positive and false positive organism detection

From: Comparative analysis of metagenomic classifiers for long-read sequencing datasets

  1. The table shows true and false positive organism detections for three different thresholds: 1, 10 and 50. A threshold represents the number of reads that need to be assigned to that organism to consider it present in the sample. The data is presented as the number of false-positive detections (organisms incorrectly reported as present), followed by the number of true positive detections in parentheses (organisms correctly reported as present). Each dataset name is followed by the number of species in that dataset in parentheses. Results for MEGAN-N are unavailable for datasets PB3, PB_Zyme and PB_ATCC
