  1. The table shows the number of detected species on real datasets for three different thresholds: 1, 10, and 50. A threshold represents the minimum number of reads assigned to a species to consider it present in the sample. Reads assigned to higher taxa are considered unclassified. The table also shows the percentage of unclassified reads for each dataset. Due to dataset sizes, results for MEGAN-N are unavailable. Results for MEGAN-P are unavailable on datasets SRR15489009 and SRR15489017
