T is the lower bound for the whole read count of a CGI which is used in analysis. \(\beta _{M}\) is the lower bound for the methylation ratio of a CGI which belongs to class M (methylated), \(\beta _{U}\) is the upper bound for the methylation ratio of a CGI which belongs to class U (unmethylated)
